arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- brandon well i thought that it would be nice, since my diary is already very stupid and shallow, to add another stupid and shallow entry! hurray! this entry will be about brandon! cuz i'm feeling very teenybopper today and well hmmmmm......i've kinda neglected brandon for awhile even though he is my husband! cuz last year for english i had to write an obituary and i married him! and we had kids! i forget what they were named...oh well! so anyway...brandon is brandon boyd.....from incubus....i know like everyone likes incubus now....oh well...there was a time....when....i didn't use so many dots....hahah....umm....I LOVE INCUBUS! i'm not like one of them old school whatevers though the first album of theirs i owned was make yourself...i bought it in january of 2000..3 fucking years ago can you believe it??? hmm so yeah......i hadn't heard incubus before...i knew they were on family values 98 but i didnt know what they sounded like...but i had tix to go see sno core in feb. so i got the cd! and wow i really liked it!! and i thought brandon had a sexy voice. though i didn't know his name or what he looked like....i thought he was that mustache dude haha i was clueless. and then i saw them on feb. 18th 2000 and they were really good! haha i made my dad drive us through like a fucking blizzard to get there but it was worth it! even though that old guy was like threatening us but hmm....anyway.....incubus was the best band there. i mean we didnt stay for system of a down because SOMEONE (*cough* ashley *cough*) wanted to leave.....? ok yeah so....i saw brandon and noticed he was a very pretty boy! and so the next day i bought s.c.i.e.n.c.e and hmmmm......then....stellar came out and they were fucking on trl and i was like *gasp* but it was all good! and then i saw them again in november 2000 opening for the deftones in asbury park. we suffered alot to see them! we suffered through a long car drive and awful food and waiting on line for HOURS in the FREEZING cold and umm haha maybe this is a lil too much information but i had my period and did not feel well and was in a really shitty mood! oh and also...tapes were being thrown. which was frightening. and....incubus was amazing again of course. they were better than the deftones even though the deftones sang say it aint so!! hmmm.....yeah......so then drive came out and they got all popular and hmm...then wish you were here came out like before drive was even gone which was crazy! i remember the first time i heard it....i was in the car on the way back home from seeing radiohead!! and yeah. i got morning view the day it came out and i didn't really like it...but now i do like it....and i saw them at msg in june...and they were amazing again but it was so weird that they sold out msg! like...wow. it was a really great show. but then i saw them again in september in hartford....and well lets just say it was one of the worst concerts ever. the band was fine....they even sang i miss you which i had never heard live...but....the people there....who obviously knew nothing about the band except their singer was sexy....were really annoying! some threw beer at me....others were just loud....but umm.....anyway brandon cried during mexico. and like...aww that got to me! the only other person ive seen cry while singing was fucking chris carraba (the dashboard confessional guy) when he opened for weezer and well....it was kinda expected for that guy to cry. anyway....i guess incubus are on a "break" now or whatever....but i really hope they come back soon....cuz you know....some people go on breaks and never come back! oh no! so basically.....i love brandon. cuz he's really cute and he has a nice tummy! and a beautiful voice and umm he's really umm....boring? but that's good cuz he doesn't try to be someone he's not. and he has good taste in shoes!!
