arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a weird survey about 2002 i stoled this from pacman over at fod....hi pacman! i don't think he reads this diary but hmm...yeah. it's a little late for 2002 recaps, but oh well! here goes....At any point in 2002, did you: 1. Go to a party? wow....i don't think so. not a real one. on christmas eve, i went to visit my dads side of the family. and early last year, i visited my moms. they call those parties. they're really not. me and erin were going to go to a sorority party or something! but we went bowling instead haha. 2. Try something new? well...i went to college. i also....completely changed the type of music i listen to. 3. Have something change your life? not really. i'd say bright eyes...but i don't think they have. 4. Kiss someone? kinda...it wasn't real though 5. Tell your family and friends you love them? yeahh 6. Buy something extravagant? a car? but i'm not really paying for that anymore since my mom is a whore but...i bought a big shelf cd thing! 7. Do something nice for you? i am always doing something nice for me. i'm quite selfish that way. 8. Do something terribly wrong? i graduated high school, god dammit. 9. Move? i moved from the little bedroom to the big bedroom. 10. Go to a concert? oh yes...i dont even know if i can say all of em....but the first was....*cringe* linkin park!!! haha back in february.....oh my....and next would be...bush in san francisco, then bush right here, then...hmm. i don't know. i saw weezer/dashboard/sparta in july. the goo goo dolls in june, august, and october. third eye blind in august. the warped tour in august. oh fuck i forgot incubus. in june and september. and once phantom planet opened for them. blink 182/green day (that was a shit show) umm....sr71/exies, boysetsfire was kick ass...juliana theory was cool...plus of course the saddle creek show where i saw desaparecidos, the good life, now its overhead, azure ray, rilo kiley, cursive and 3.5 songs of bright eyes. and just so you know, these songs were the big picture, you will, messenger birds song, and the trees get wheeled away. i bet you didnt care to know. this answers getting too long. i also so creed in september. i mean....yeah. i did. and lets finish it up with a bang! bright eyes/the good life/azure ray/now its overhead at the bowery on december 9th. cuz yeah, i did actually get to see bright eyes. Best of the Year: 1. Party: there was none 2. Show: conan obrien 3. CD: bright eyes - lifted -or- the story is in the soil keep your ears to the ground. BUY IT YOU FOOLS! or you could buy desaparecidos - read music/speak spanish or..coldplay - ...whatever their albums called. I FORGOT! but its really good. 4. Movie: about a boy or catch me if you can 5. Song: im sorry....i gotta say it....the vines - get free. haha. but my FAVORITE song this year was konstantine by something corporate. i dont have any clue when it came out though. 6. Experience: i dont know....when something corporate sang konstantine. i thought i was gonna pass out. 7. Concert: warped was really cool. incubus at msg was cool. weezer and dashboard rocked. but i gotta go with bright eyes at the bowery... 8. Book: i read high fidelity. it didnt come out this year. im in the middle of reading this book by howard zinn. also didnt come out this year. thats about all i read. 9. Month: any month while i was still in high school 10. Day: i'd say my birthday but nothing happened...lets say august 11...the warped tour.....minus the sunscreen incident Worst of the Year: 1. Party: 2. Show: not a clue. a stupid reality show. all stupid reality shows. 3. CD: honestly wasnt a big fan of weezers new cd, but shit it wasnt the worst....oh i know...30 seconds to mars. (i've never heard this cd...so.....yeah...) 4. Movie: i think that....umm....undercover brother? haha i never saw it. 5. Song: i think pacmans answer was lifestyles of the rich and the famous. by good charlotte. i might have to stand by that one. 6. Experience: how about not getting to see bright eyes? 7. Concert: hmmmm....can we say pop disaster? saves the day was the only thing that saved it, and well...they sucked too. 8. Book: how bout my gov't textbook? 9. Month: december. i think i was depressed or something 10. Day: november 3 Hopes for 2003: 1. Predict something that you think will happen in 2003? i will....finish my first year of college? 2. What do you hope changes about your country? i hope we don't go to war for fucking oil 3. What do you hope for yourself? i hope i make friends....become social....stop being an idiot 4. What do you hope for your family? i hope....my mom leaves me the fuck alone, i hope my dad stops pissing off my mom....i hope my brother......i have no idea. is happy? i just want everyone to be happy. whatever 5. What do you hope for your best friend? be happy? 6. What do you hope for the rest of your friends? be happy....and maybe call me or something haha 7. Do you think any amazing medical advances will be made? no. and to be honest i dont really care 8.
