arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NASTY HOBBITSES!!! ahh...bright eyes tickets and a cd in the mail in the same day make stacie a very happy camper! so i bought some cd's yesterday.... now, before i bought these cd's, i was wondering to myself why people hate pop punk music and think it's evil. i can understand not liking it, but what is there to abhor, seriously? and i couldn't think of anything. and then i listened to the starting line cd. that cd...is so bad....i barely made it through the thing. it's boring and drab and unoriginal and i wanna strangle that lil cutesy singer boy. i've never actually seen him....but he must be lil and cutesy. like a 12 year old. ahhh. seriously...this cd is BAD. so i was pretty pissed about the whole wasting 13 bucks on a piece of shit. ive been buying a lot of cd's recently from bands i don't know much about, taking chances, and the results have been good. up until now. its kinda funny, of the 3 cd's i bought yesterday, the starting line was the only one i was really familiar with. and i didn't mind them. i guess it's not so bad when you hear one isolated song and not 13 in a row. the high point of the cd is on track 13 i think....the singer yells something, something involving the word through...and for one second it didn't sound like crap. it's way too new found glory for my tastes. other parts kinda reminded me of the ataris. but not in a good way. so yeah. very very bad pop punk. worse than blink 182 even. probably worse than newfound glory. ahh. if you want good pop punk, try the new ataris cd. or the first good charlotte cd. or coheed and cambria. something corporate. not the starting line. for gods sake, please don't listen to the starting line. in case you were wondering, the other cds are piebald - we are the only friends we have and afi - .... haha i dunno what its called! HAH! they're both good. the cd i got in the mail is the about a boy soundtrack. badly drawn boy, yay! so i know you're all wondering about my exploring the universe test, right? no? haha well it sucked and i probably passed but not by much. but the stuff i wasn't understanding before i did alright on, cuz i only studied that and neglected everything else. some of the stuff i didn't have any idea on. you know youre in trouble when there's a bunch of questions with all these words that you can't even begin to comprehend. all i have to do tonight is my english midterm and watch american idol. NO WORK!!!! should be relaxing! oh and a few more special little details of my life...i'm almost done with the 2 towers. and i can play konstantine. left hand and right hand...TOGETHER! it's fucking crazy. and i can recognize that shit too. wooooow i'm proud of myself:) 1:09 p.m. - 2003-03-12 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
