arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- linkin park...yeah, thats what i said....linkin park so yeah. i bought the new linkin park cd. and i've gotten crap from like...4 people because of it. they all asked me why i would buy that. uhh...how about because i wanted it? maybe i LIKE linkin park? just maybe? i know, i should have EXCELLENT taste in music just like all of you. i could listen to slipknot or queens of the stone age or whatever the hell you people listen to. i don't think any of you are in a position to question my taste in music. sorry, but it really pisses me off when people feel like they're above listening to a certain band. so anyway...i didn't really like the cd. i was really hoping they would like...get better. move forward. evolve, a bit. but they really didn't. there's some songs i really hate on there. i think there was 2 i liked. and they're the ones where its basically just chester. and no mike. the cd's kind of overproduced. it sounds too perfect. chester shouldn't do that rap-rock scream. it's terrible. when he actually sings, though, it's very nice. i still think he should go join another band. some alt. rock band or something. he would be more useful there. i kinda liked easier to run. faint has good music, but once the singing/rapping starts...ehh. hit the floor is TERRIBLE. breaking the habit was cool. nobody's listening was bad. numb was alright. that's not all the tracks but...yeah. i'm spent. i spelled adrien brody's name wrong the other night. so...yeah. didn't mean it! he rules... 4:42 p.m. - 2003-03-25 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
