arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this is the stuff i think about when i'm bored! you know what's weird? i guess it's only weird if you know the song....which happens to be 'jude law and a semester abroad' by brand new. the chick in the song (who he hates so much he wants her to burn in the wreckage or drown at the bottom of the sea...i wonder if it's the same girl who he wants to drive while drunk and then think of him as her faces smashes through her windshield?) uhh...was that a run on? anyway, her name is jess, as stated in the line "jess, i still taste you, and thus reserve my right to hate you" now, why is this weird, you may ask? the lead singer of the band, i.e., the person singing to jess (who sounds LOVELY, by the way)...his name is jesse. so, have i got it wrong? is that line suppose to be from the girls point of view, or is it just a weird coincidence that they have practically the same name? i don't think i could date anyone with a name so similar to mine. like...if his name is jesse, i'm sure some people call him jess. and OBVIOUSLY, people call her jess too, he does at least... so imagine they're having sex, right...and...uhh...well, you know where i'm going with this right? the moaning of names that could possibly happen? like....how weird would that be, if you were screamin out your own name during sex? you see? well this was certainly a fabulous entry! 11:30 p.m. - 2003-07-14 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
