strange how the ears ring after a night of wrongdoing

hmm...

i don't remember how long it's been, but i'm pretty sure that i've cut off a cop since last i wrote.

scary shit.

i also went to krammy's house, (only to watch her tv, of course) and her mother said it was so nice that we were hanging out or something. it was...uhh..interesting! but then i just watched tv and nikki sewed. but yeah, it's nice that we're hanging out!

i think the music cd has replaced hot hot heat on the top of my "best cd's to listen to while in the shower" list. i haven't listened to the music since april probably, but one of the bands i saw last night reminded me of them.

ahh yes, last night...

the coheed show was last night...and i went. with nikki, randy, and kenny.

the line was kinda long and full of emo kids. i have never seen more emo kids in my life. well, i suppose at the juliana theory show there last october, the sheer density of emo kids was greater...for those of you non-math freaks, that clearly means that there were more emo kids per square foot. however, the juliana theory show was practically empty for some reason, and the coheed and cambria show was pretty much packed, so even though not EVERYONE was an emo kid, as per the juliana theory show, the volume of emo kids was greater.

haha...i'm tired.

ok so...it's all crowded, ridiculously hot. the first band is called the paragraph and their lead singer looks EXACTLY like my english teacher. i'm not kidding. i actually thought it was him for quite a while. anyway...they were alright....nothing GREAT, but i've heard a lot worse, and the lead singer was funny at least.

the next band was uhh...shit.

supergoat. yeah.

the lead singer was emo-rific. i didn't care for his voice though. the last song they did was pretty wicked, though.

the next band was called three, and they were quite talented! they sounded to me like a mix between the music, jane's addiction, old incubus stuff, and....uhh...last night i could have told you, but now i don't remember. they were good, anyway, but i don't think i could get into them.

this is taking me a long time to write because i'm also watching brendan leonard. it's the one where they babysit!!! the first one i ever saw!

so yeah....then it was coheed and cambria and...umm i didn't know what they looked like at all and...i was pretty shocked! but all is good!

something sounded a little off, i don't think the vocals were loud enough or something...they didn't sound overly great, but they weren't bad at all. it just wasn't jaw dropping or whatever. i'd tell you what they sang, but it would only be track numbers and i doubt anyone who reads this actually gives a shit about coheed and cambria anyway. the important thing is, they sang everything evil (apparently that's what it's called) and they didn't sing time consumer because they were tired or something. it didn't end until about 1:30, then we dropped nikki off and went to the diner.

so....i had fun. it was a nice night, better than sitting at home! but, the last show i saw was thursday so maybe i'm being a little hard on them. because no one can match thursday, right? except...radiohead actually is better live i guess. and boy sets fire.

i'm so tired.

anyway, i don't know if anyone else had fun...or well...i know kenny did, you never can tell with randy, and i have no idea if nikki enjoyed it at all. but she also did have to wake up at like 6am today so...ahh...poor krammy.

jenn called me a little while ago to make sure i was coming to work, you know, since i requested it off and all! she wanted to know if she'd be stuck alone with the "retards"...she actually said that...haha...anyway, that was nice of her.

they're playing a song i know on brendan leonard right now...i love when that happens!

and i'm OUT!

this is a note i'm adding like 10 minutes later....DEVIL IN JERSEY CITY WAS THE BEST SONG COHEED SANG! and...i can't believe i forgot that. and NOW i'm hearing thursday - for the workforce, drowning and feeling...pretty much the same!
