arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my taking back sunday cherry has been popped! it is true. after a year or so of hearing raves about taking back sunday, i have finally listened to the album. i don't know much about this band, except they kept dropping off and then rejoining the warped tour, and i read something the lead singer wrote which made me realize he's completely psycho. also, they just kicked out 2 members, or lost 2 members, or something. but anyway...about the cd. uhh...overrated is the first word that comes to mind. i have heard nothing but praise for this band, so i figured there must be something special about them. maybe there is something special. they're fucking addictive. i've heard the cd like 5 times now, and i keep feeling the need to quote lyrics, even though they don't particularly mean anything to me, they just sound cool. i can't even explain it. so yeah. i like it, but it's not so good. now i'm in the loop. except i just found out my favorite song on the album was written by some guy who isn't in the band anymore. go figure. and also i read that the same song is about jesse from brand new. haha. i know nothing. oh well. i didn't want it to mean that much to me. 9:24 p.m. - 2003-08-05 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
