arienettelyn's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- it's not a lie if you believe it...and thursday rocks everyone take a deep breath!!! we got to the chance around 6:15, and saw ashley and fernando, and cut them. awesome. they had already cut someone else, so it was all good. emo kids were all over the place, but only a few good looking ones. some kids from my brother and kenny's school showed up, and they talked to them, and ashley and fernando were talking to this guy she thought she was cute and his annoying as fuck drunk girlfriend. this might not sound funny to you, but it was hilarious when it happened...ashley and drunk girl were talking about their tickets, drunk girl wanted to see if ashley and hers were the same, and ashley said jokingly "my ticket is for taking back monday, i don't know what youre talking about" and this kid who's MAYBE 10 standing in front of us turns around, all pissed-off like, and goes "it's taking back SUNDAY" and he was so mad about it! and i started laughing hysterically, because i'm an idiot like that...but drunk girl got mad, and screamed "what are you, 6????" and...the little kid got even madder, and like...started coming towards her...his friends were holding him back...so at this point i'm practically rolling on the floor...and then i think fernando called him a smurf... then we got in, and went to the merch area, where kenny had a chat with the lead singer of moneen and my chemical romance's merch guy. mcr merch guy and kenny TOTALLY wanted each other. i finally got the tbs shirt i wanted. then we went in, and when moneen started we went down into the pit. there wasn't much of one for moneen, since they're not very RARRH but...they were okay. canadian, woohoo! and their lead singer climbed waaay up on the speakers and then jumped. i was thinking....now what is adam gonna do to top that? i was thinking about the poor balcony... saosin came out next, and they had a sexy fucking guitarist who i wanted very badly. they also rocked. the pit was crazy. i got smashed against the back of the bannister thingie...right in front of these 2 kids who were about 7, no joke, and one of them was wearing a thursday shirt!! after that, my chemical romance came out, the pit was even crazier for them, i got beat up more, but they were good. after mcr finished, we decided to leave the pit because we were all hurting pretty bad. me and kenny went to get water. randy stumbled by a few minutes later. he had passed out! haha poor randy. eventually, taking back sunday came out. they opened with you know how i do, then bike scene. after that, they did a new song (the one that used to be called eh eh and is now called, if i remember correctly, go to sleep, ho) then they did cute without the e...some police cover, timberwolves at new jersey, you're so last summer, great romances of the 20th century, 2 other new songs...la la....they fucking rocked, surprisingly. new guitarist singer dude (aka fred) didn't suck as bad as he did on tv, so that was all good. the last song they did before the encore was there's no i in team, and hmm, what did adam do? yeah, he climbed up to the balcony, and dangled off it upside down with no hands...he was relying on the kids up there to hold him up. crazy fuck. then after a few minutes adam came back onstage by himself and sang a song which i THINK is called your own disaster, but don't quote me on that one. then they did ghost man on third. and then it was done. i guess they were told to say that crowd surfing is a bad idea, and they agreed to say it because, as adam put it, there's a "death pit" right in front of the stage (the new barricade the fuckers put up!)...and he said it wasn't very well thought out...haha. my thoughts exactly. he said thank you a lot, and seemed pretty cool. not asshole-like. so he gets some points for that. so after the show, we were soaking wet with other peoples sweat and...yeah. we went home. and i took a shower. and then i cut my hair. and now it looks messed up. i cut basically all of it off in the back. because i rock. so my week of tests is over, but now i have a fucking women in literature essay test on tuesday. i hate that class. i don't think i'm going to do well, and since it doesn't really count for anything, i want to drop it. i just found out that by taking only 2 french classes, i can have a french minor. awesome. i'm so doing it. i'm a little angry at some people i work with right now. namely the people that change the schedule after it's already done and schedule me for days that i have requested off. and then the people who tell me that if i can't come, i have to find someone to cover and tell the manager personally that i won't be coming. on a day i'm not supposed to work anyway!!! fuck that shit. i'm gonna talk about thursday again, so if you don't wanna read then i guess this entry's over for you, bye! the cd....is AWESOME. it gets better every time i listen to it. i can't believe how much i love it. this song brought to you by a falling bomb nearly made me cry at school yesterday. marches and maneuvers is so cool...i love the part in asleep in the chapel when he's singing "oh lord, can you save us?" it's so fucking weird to hear geoff say that...sarcastically, of course, but damn. it gives me chills. steps ascending is wicked too. the guy who sings on it has a pretty voice. war all the time is beautiful. division st. is groovy. signals over the air is sexy. (??? haha i'm really reaching there). i love the screaming in tomorrow i'll be you. i love the lyrics of m. shepard. for the workforce, drowning is baby-punching awesome. and between rupture and rapture...is good too. haha i ran out. i also love how in the booklet it says that the lyrics were influenced by many authors and to see a list go to the website, so people can stop saying geoff is a fraud. cuz that's fucking stupid. my car is back again. but is it fixed? we may never know...i hope so, since i have to drive it to rhode island next week! <3 love all of the time <3 10:03 p.m. - 2003-09-18 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
